Junior, Kyle Faircloth, has received the high school student scholarship from Peters Valley School of Craft. Kyle will be able to take a summer course at this prestigious school for ceramics with world renown artists.
Michelle Penagos had her typewriter teapot selected for NCECA k-12 Student Exhibition. Selected by a professional artist, a little over one hundred works are chosen from over a thousand submitted from across the country. Michelle’s work will be on exhibit in Minnesota for an international community of artists to enjoy during the 22nd National Conference. The ceramics department is very proud of Michelle.
Class of 2018 Graduates Return to MHS to lead an alumni panel on collegiate student life for current seniors. This program was coordinated by the Middlesex High School Counseling Department.

MHS Students Selected for Rutgers Student Art Exhibit
Rutgers University, Camden Campus – has selected five students work from Middlesex High School Ceramics Department for inclusion in their student art exhibit, New Visions. The work will be displayed in the student gallery February 3-9, and the opening reception will be February 9 from 10 am until 2pm. The students representing Middlesex are Claudia Jones, Giselle Rubina, Geraldine Penagos, Michelle Penagos, and Wyatt Meixner.
