    Middlesex High School ceramics department is working in collaboration with Sayerville War Memorial High School and other programs from across the state to create poppies that will be installed at the NJ Vietnam Veterans Memorial for this months ceremonies

    Junior, Kyle Faircloth, has received the high school student scholarship from Peters Valley School of Craft. Kyle will be able to take a summer course at this prestigious school for ceramics with world renown artists.

    Michelle Penagos had her typewriter teapot selected for NCECA k-12 Student Exhibition. Selected by a professional artist, a little over one hundred works are chosen from over a thousand submitted from across the country. Michelle’s work will be on exhibit in Minnesota for an international community of artists to enjoy during the 22nd National Conference. The ceramics department is very proud of Michelle.

Girls Who Code Club
Middlesex HS held its Girls Who Code club kick-off meeting on May 21. Sophomore Sneha Kumar, who had in previous years participated in a local community Girls Who Code club, had the idea to start her own club at MHS. She enlisted the help of math and computer science teacher Dr. Kutt

Senior Awards Night 2019

On Wednesday, June 5th Middlesex High School held its annual Senior Awards Night, where students are recognized for their academic and athletic achievements. The evening is not possible without the generous sponsors from the community, where last night close to $61,000.00 was awarded.

Summer Academy Rock School


MHS Students Selected for Rutgers Student Art Exhibit

Rutgers University, Camden Campus – has selected five students work from Middlesex High School Ceramics Department for inclusion in their student art exhibit, New Visions.  The work will be displayed in the student gallery February 3-9, and the opening reception will be February 9 from 10 am until 2pm.  The students representing Middlesex are Claudia Jones, Giselle Rubina, Geraldine Penagos, Michelle Penagos, and Wyatt Meixner.
