Principal's Message
The connection between the home and the school plays a vital role in your child's education. Children whose parents are involved in their child's school and education tend to have an increase in academic achievement. This web site, as well as individual teacher sites, is one of many ways the school is communicating with the home. On this site you will find several articles, web sites and additional information to help foster the home-school connection. Research strongly suggests that the single most important thing you can do at home to promote academic success is to read with and to your children. Encouraging and motivating children to read and enjoy reading is a primary focus here at Watchung School. When the home and school are working together, great gains in achievement can be made!
