Principal’s Message

Keep an eye out for information on the final exam schedule, graduation information and end of school year schedule for students.  A letter will be sent home in the near future.  Please remind your child to prepare and study and be sure to seek extra help if necessary for final exams.

Parents and guardians—Below are some links to a few letters sent to us from the Middlesex County Prosecutor, Bruce J. Kaplan. He asked we share with you and the students attending our Junior/Senior prom.  We will be sharing them with the students at a grade level meeting to be held on May 10th.

We are closing in on the end of the school year.  Seniors are getting close to the end of their careers at MHS.  Their legacy has been a good one.  It includes improving the districts standardized test scores, improving the average SAT score for the district, sport team championships, high quality performing arts performances and exhibits and embracing a change of principals.

The senior class will be leaving MHS a stronger school than when they arrived. I want to congratulate all of the graduates and wish them “success” in their future endeavors.  As the great coach/teacher John Wooden says, “Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.”

The district school calendar and MEA agreement state that, “in the event there are any unused snow/emergency days, they will be given back during the Memorial Day weekend.”  Due to the fact that two snow/emergency days were not used this past school year, Friday May 25th and Tuesday May 29th will be the days returned.  Therefore, all district schools will be closed on Friday, May 25th through Tuesday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day.

Don't Text & Drive
"She Could Have Just Said 'I Love You'".  This is the 2012 entry for the Middlesex County 3D PSA contest that four students from our MSG Varsity Club shot and edited.  Jeff Pinedo, TJ Griffin, Gerson Artola, and Zach Molnar contributed their time and talent to make a very effective PSA that denounces texting while driving.

Unfortunately, this PSA did not place in the contest but it was one of the most effective PSA that was submitted among the 14 participating schools.
